Well, I don't usually have long nails on a daily basis but lately I just felt like I wanna get out of my comfort zone and try having longer nails for a change. And there's this one nail art that I do to my Mum's finger nails that she really likes a lot and would always ask me to do it for her over and over again.
So here's how I did it:
First thing I did was to put a base coat to protect my nails. That is important!
And the tools I used in making this gradient/ombre nail art were just tweezers and a small piece of sponge. (I would usually tend to cut my make up sponge into a tiny piece instead because if I use the bigger ones I'll have to clean the excess nail polish at the sides of my nails and I don't like cleaning them, you know.)
Next, I dropped a small amount of white nail polish unto the paper then dabbed the sponge on the nail polish using the tweezers and patted it on the tip of my nail. In order to acquire the gradient/ombre effect, I applied and patted more of the white nail polish on the tip of my nail and just small amount of it going towards the centre.
I tell you, I didn't get it right at first but it will only take a few practice and I'm pretty sure you'll get the hang of it afterwards.
And after I was done, I finished it off with a top coat to smooth out some textures.
Base Coat: Bobbi Base Coat
White Nail Polish: Sassy Nail Polish in White Satin
Top Coat: Bobbi Top Coat
I hope you like it and don't forget to comment down below of how you think of this nail art tutorial!
Thank you and have a nice day. :)
(PS: I know, I have ugly fingers. Please bear with that!)
They look pretty, I wish I was a bit more adventurous with my nails!
